Does your sawaab get less or go away when you tell people that you are a giver and give a lot? I know someone who always tells people how much they give and have given in the past and always boasts about how good a heart they have.

I got to know about my friend’s past and I advised her to repent and to never fall into the haram relationships.She was very guilty and was not accepting that she was into haram before.To make her feel better,I told her a gist of what wrong I did in my past. Now I am feeling bad that I told her a little of my past too. I repented to Allah and my friend has repented too. But still its killing me.

I am so scared do you have to regret shirk to repent from it to come back to Islam? what if you don’t regret it are you locked out of Islam until you somehow fix that. I know you have said without regret there is no repentance. But is saying the shahada enough?
