The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam ordered us to grow the beards and cut short the moustaches. The consensus of scholars is that it is
forbidden to shave it.

Could you give me any evidence which points towards beards being Fard?

One of the Imams of our masjid told me that wearing trousers is like (aura) and he gave some hadith that said “Qasiat Aariat”, but I have seen many scholars including yourself putting on trousers so who do I follow here?
