It is Sunnah to raise your hands and say a’ameen. This is different to congregational du’ah when the prayer is over and the Imam supplicates while the others say A’ameen.

Congregational Dua Is An Innovation, But Say We Are In Masjid Al Haram And Sheik Sudais Is Leading Witr Prayer & In Qunoot He Raises His Hands And Everyone In Congregation Does So, What Should One Do In Such A Situation, Should We Raise Our Hands Although This Is Not Permissible In Such A Manner?
