ANSWER: This hadeeth is authentic. If we manage to stay steadfast on Islam in our troubled times and in calamities, we will be highly rewarded. We won’t surely reach the companions’ patience and commitment but Allah will grant us this reward out of His generosity.

My question is there were 10 sahabas who were given basharat of jannah and we also know that muslims who were in jung e badr all their sins were upto death were forgiven.Does that mean they were also given basharat of jannah indirectly?

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) has narrated 5000+ hadiths and i have been told he only spent a few years with the Prophet (SAW). How is it that he has narrated 3 or 4 times as many ahadith as Abu Bakr as Siddique (RA) and Umar ibn Al Khattab (RA) when they spent so much more time with him ?
