I want to ask regarding performing tahajjud prayer in laylatul qadr.I am a nurse and my duty is night shift,I wanted to pray the last 10 remaining days of ramadan but they said I cannot perform it since I am awake during duty because they said you can only pray tahajjud after a sleep.My c0ncern is do we have some considerations like me who cannot sleep during my night duty in hospital?

You don’t need to sleep! Go ahead and pray it.

Can my husband or brother lead the ladies of the house in salaah. What is the proper way of doing it and will it be more rewarding??

During the last ten nights of Ramadan, can we still perform the usual 8 rakaahs of taraweeh + 3 rakaahs of witr or do we have to step it up and pray more in order to get the reward of praying the whole night in laylatul Qadr?

Both are permissible. If you prolong the 11 Rakah to include a long time, this is best.

is it better to pray Tahajjud in the congregation or at home privately cause my mosque is praying Tahajjud for the last 10 days.

I have heard many people say that taraweeh and tahajjud are the same and one can pray whichever they like. Is this true? Is qiyamul lail that is conducted in many mosques in gulf same as tahajjud? Can we skip qiyamul lail and go for tahajjud instead and reward will be the same? Please clarify.

sheikh, I lived in Singapore .majority Muslim are follower of shafi madhub. In our masjid,every body pray tarawee. Most of the time 20 and sometimes 8 rakah along with witr. From 21st Ramadan they will start pray tahajjud in congretation Start from 3 am morning along with tarawee 20 rakah start from esha prayer . Is it permissible in shariya congregations in one night?

I am now in India and taraweeh here is fast like within 45 min 20+3 rakhaths and completely surrounded with Bidah .As a person who lived in Saudi, I feel completely disturbed and angry after praying taraweeh what shud I do ? Can I pray alone at home 8 +3 rakaths?
