Please I want to know if it is an Innovation (bidi’a) to use social media to propagate Islam?

ANSWER: It is not innovation, it is a medium to be used to propagate good and bad stuff. If used in a proper way, it can be beneficial.

I use snapchat an app where my face features are changed. I only share pictures with my sister’s and mehrams. I need to know it is haram or halal? Someone told me it’s wrong and I will be punished for this

ANSWER: Yes, one should not use it if the features are changed or in imitating animals. As a female, you must not be photographed.

I have hundreds of friends on Facebook. I also follow a lot of Islamic pages and I have joined many Islamic groups. They usually share good posts ( for worldly benefits and for the benefits of hereafter). If I give likes (pressing like button) on the good posts, will I get Sawab (benefits for hereafter)?

ANSWER: If your ‘likes’ would make others see that post and they follow it or forward it and people benefit from it, yes, this would be written down as a good deed from you and would be rewarded accordingly in sha Allah.(Providing the post is authentic in itself)

I recently suggested 2 my cousin that her profile pic on WhatsApp was a bit too attractive. I’ve been dropping hints on improving on religion also for some time now. She blocked me in response. Similarly, when I advised my sis-in-law not to go in for the birth control operation, she said she knows it’s haraam but she did it. How best to deal with such relatives who knowingly sin?

Make du’a for them along with what you are doing. You have done your obligation and the sin is on them.

Is it permissible for a female to upload her photo on sites such as LinkedIn if she has her hijab on in the photo? LinkedIn is a professional platform used for job search and employers to see who you are before an interview.

Obviously, you should ask her to stop before this little general talk turns into something else and you have to regret upon yourself.

I am planning to earn mony by uploading cooking video on youtube i will not anchor only my sound and hand will be there. If it is not good for showing hand i will put gloves(if it necessary only.pls tell me about that) And i will be paid by google when my video get 1k viewers.and also when my video get advertisement.some times that advertisement may be bad Is that money halal?

I wouldn’t recommend you talking as there are a lot of sick people who would be tempted by your voice especially as you will be explaining all the time and may be cracking a joke or two.

It is allowed to earn in this way, if the youtube videos you post are halal and have no haram content in them such as music or women. I wouldn’t recommend this as evil eye is a fact.

I have always had a passion for the deen Alhamdulilah But recently I’ve felt like such a hypocrite and like I’ve nauzobilah let Allah down so badly because my passion does not translate to deeds when it comes to some situations ,namely my inlaws As a result I feel like wats the point of my posts on fb n all this talk of deen if really I can’t do wat I preach I feel like such a hypocrite
