Praise be to Allaah. Who was Ibn ‘Arabi? He was a prominent Sufi; in fact he was an extreme Sufi. His name was Muhammad ibn ‘Ali ibn Muhammad al-Taa’i al-Andalusi. The scholars have told us about him in response to a question which was put to them. The question was as follows: What do the […]

I would like to ask you about Mehdavi Sunni Muslims. I was told that they believe completely in Islam and Sunnah but they believe that Mahdi (a.s) has already come and gone. While we Sunni muslims believe that Mahdi (a.s) is yet to come. Is it permissible for Sunni Muslim lady to marry a Sunni Mahdavi man?

This can’t be the only thing! Such a sect must have many other beliefs that go against Islam.

I read on Internet about gusul azam dastageer R.A, he has done lot of miracle do we should believe that, because zakir naik said only prophets can do miracles.

I don’t know of a person with such a name. I don’t know what he has done. Miracles are only given to prophets. However, some of their followers may be given things extraordinary to prove that they are following the right prophet. This differs with the things some of the deviant and evil people may […]

Sheikh,my husband is supporting and following these groups as they said it’s the true islam. They only listen to scholars who they call “Mujahirun.” This issue has been causing conflicts between us to the point that i made him choose whether to give this up or he leaves me as i dont want to stay with someone supoorting deviants. May Allah reward you immensely.

Your decision is the correct one.

we have a Qur’an from the Ahmadiyya Jamaat. I know they’re wrong. I did not go through it completely but i noticed that there are some diffrences, e.g. the first ayah in surah no. 3 is the Basmalah and not Alif Lam Mim, and the same with surah no. 3. And in the introduction they say that there is no place for a eternal condemnation in islam. Should we keep it or not?

Some people, like the Barelvis, believe that if you say the azaan on the grave, it helps the deceased answer the questions in the grave. Is this true?

This is baseless.

Why do some people only take the Quran without hadith saying hadith isn’t reliable and the Quran is complete from Allah. Why need hadith? What should I say to them?

These people are ignorant! If they totally ignore hadeeth, they are apostates! One has to refer back to hadith to understand and follow the Sunnah of the prophet SAW which is not in the Quran, moreover, Quran provides us certain sets of instructions, the procedures to carry them out can only be found in hadith.
