ANSWER: He will be held accountable for smoking but he did not smoke to commit suicide or to kill himself.

QUESTION: My 9 years old daughter asked me a question that when we will get deeds of record book then will it has bad deeds too with good deeds for right hand people and so is for left hand too like vica Versa.

ANSWER: Yes. Every person’s record contains both good and bad deeds, but those given the book in the right hand have their bad deeds forgiven or outweighed, while those given it in the left hand have their bad deeds dominant.

QUESTION: Will Allah reward me if I teach my children to do righteous deeds and tell them to tell their descendants to do those righteous deeds? Will I keep getting good deeds even after my death because of this for generations?

ANSWER: 1. No problem Even if you don’t intend, she will get the reward if she was the one who taught you to read the Quran or do good deeds.

QUESTION: Why are there specific rewards in Jannah for types of people (eg. martyrs) if Allah says in Jannah you will get whatever you desire? Can’t I just wish for the reward of a martyr?
