How long does the maghrib salah last? I have asked many people and all have gave me different answers. I just want to know how long it lasts.

I wonder if one makes tawbah/prays for forgivness and forgot to say bismillah in surat al ikhlass and is unsure whether he made one or two sujoods in one of the two rakats, is it not accepted then? And if one made a lot of duhas in it.

It is not accepted if you are not sure about the prostraition.

I heard before that when we stand in prayer , we should wear good dress , but recenlty some one told me it doesnot matter ; nay it will be good if we wear the normal dress as he said to wear the towel that I did shower , instead of wearing pant

It is recommended to wear good clothes when praying.

Is it allowed to say Aamantu billahi wa rusulihi in day whenever we feel stricken in our faith or after finishing the zikr of fard namaz, can we say whenever we feel?

Connecting it to prayers, thikr or Duah is an innovation.

If one is praying at home, I have heard he should delay his prayer until the time of jama’ah of the masjid – is this correct?

This is not correct. The moment the time is due, he can pray.

Some books say to recite just this part of verse (ch2:v158) in saai: Verily! As-Safâ and Al-Marwah (two mountains in Makkah) are of the Symbols of Allâh and others saying recite the full verse line.Did the prophet peace and blessings be upon him, recite the full verse line or just the first part. Do you say in arabic and english, or is english just ok?

It appears that you recite only the first part and it has to be only in Arabic

Can we do sajda shukr after every salah? or should there be any special matter?

You can’t do it after prayer or every day. It should be only done when something special happens that doesn’t happen every time such as a successful surgery for a loved one.

If a dead person has missed his salah/or her salah for 20 years, then what should his offspring do? If their kids are poor to give charity on behalf of deceased then what should other way they have to do for misssing 20 years of salah of deceased?

If this person didn’t pray at all for 20 years and he didn’t offer any kind of prayer while living among Muslims, he is not Muslim. But if he prayed off and on, he is Muslim and you can ask Allah for forgiveness for him and make Du’ah for him and that is it.

In final sitting should I put down the pointing finger as soon as Imam gives the first taslim? Some people keep moving until Imam finish both taslim and some put it down when Imam gives first taslim. What is the correct way to practice?

When you finish your Du’ah you put down your finger.

When individually praying, should the whole Salah be whispered to oneself? If so, should the dua also be whispered, or just in the heart?

In silent prayers, the sunnah is to recite it silently. In loud prayers, the Sunnah is to recite it loudly. All the other athkar such as duah should be silent.
