I have a male relative who claims to be very knowledgable in islam to the extend that he calls himself an imam. However, he is of the opinion that you can miss the jummah prayer on Fridays as long as you have not missed it 3 times in a row. So sometimes he prays at home for two fridays and he goes to the masjid on the third Friday. What is the punishment for missing 1 or 2 jummah prayers on purpose?

I have injury in my leg and I found a prayer hall at clock tower from where we could see the Kabah and if you look down it looks like the area is part of the Al Haraam. people are praying in congregation following the Imam of al Haraam and they hear the imam via sound system. Is it permissible to pray in this prayer ?

It is an issue of dispute. It seems that only if the haram is full, one can pray there, and Allah knows best.

Is it mandatory for a person to say Bismillah before reciting a surah when praying?

No, it is not mandatory.

To start the Salah we say this in Urdu: I do niyyat for 2 rakah fard for the God, facing Ka’batullah Waqt Fajr., Allahu Akbar. Is it correct?

I leave Dammam at maghrib time and reach home before Isha time ends. Can I shorten and join maghrib and Isha in Dammam or should I pray maghrib in Dammam and come back home and pray Isha?

If you are traveling from one city to the other, you can shorten and combine before reaching your home. This is providing that the people of Dammam consider your home a traveling distance.

I have a problem where i’m always doubting whether I’ve missed things in my prayer, things like the dua between the two prostrations. it got the point i’m now doing two extra prostration at the end of nearly every prayer. Is what I am doing wrong and what is the solution to this?

You should try to concentrate more in your prayer. But if you still miss things, you must prostrate for forgetfulness.

If the toes do slide slowly during sajdah (because prayer rug is slippery) without which it gets separated from the ground, is the sajdah and thus also the salaat valid?

I am studying at an institute in Dubai. Because of time changing I am missing my magrib salah. I cannot leave the class and go as it is mix and the day I don’t go to pray they will doubt. I have no choice except to join magrib with isha. Isha is offered on time. Is this okay?

You should pray maghrib on time, it is not acceptable to delay it past its time everyday for this reason. I didn’t understand your justification. Never the less, you can go out to answer the call of nature for few minute. You can Pray outside the class room.
