I read on IslamQa that moving hastily in Prayer invalidates it. Does that mean that if I, for example, am at ease in Sujud and in the sitting position between Sujud, but I sit up from Sujud in a very fast manner, the Salaah would be invalidated? I get the feeling sometimes that I’m moving quite fast, although I only realised it after actually moving in between the different positions.

If you don’t take your time in each pillar of prayer and you just “touch and go”, the prayer is invalid.

i did istikhara many times before marriage but i got divorce n before remarrying i did istikhara many times but again im in an abusive marriage.whats wrong with it.when prophet saw told by doing istikhara one wont fail then why my wedded life isnt normal?

Istikhara is not for your whole life! It is for the marriage to go ahead with it or not! The decision was good to marry that particular person! when a Muslim finish off salah. One will say ‘assalamu alaikom wa rahmatullah’ and turn right, say again and turn left. from what I know this means, (May Allah send peace upon you). But may I know who actually is the Muslim saying this too when ending his salah?

I grew up seeing people standing when they enter the masjid and the muazzin is saying the athan, they wait till he finishes then they perform the nawafil. I adopted it too, I now thought hey, I have never asked about it & never heard any scholar talks about it. Is this practice Ok? And can someone just perform his nawafil even if the athan is being called?

Waiting to repeat behind the Mo’athin and saying the Duaa afterwards is better! One can pray as soon as he finishes saying the athan!

just to clarify between the azan and iqamah, there a 2 rakahs sunnah prayer that can be offered, even when the maghreb azan is given if there is enough time between the azan and iqamah in my local praying area?

For Maghreb and all other prayers, the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi as sallam had said: between every athan and iqamah, there is a prayer of two units! He repeated it three times and then said: to whomever wishes!

The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had said: between every 2 Athans (the Athan and Iqamah) there is a prayer (2 rak’ah nafl).
