I think Allah is punishing me for asking blasphemous questions. Is my perception correct, does this happen to Muslims who question (not doubt) sacred texts? Like today, I wanted to ask you that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said “that the average age of my Ummah will be 60 to 70 years”. What use do we have for this information?

May I ask the reason why? There’s a huge debate here amongst friends just to educate us. Basically, the debate is that it’s my brother’s wish and not mine. So, I’m simply carrying out his wish. I live in the US. My brother a non practicing muslim, created a will to outline what he wants to happen when he dies. He wants his body to be creamated. Can I as a muslim honor that request? Or, should I tell him I cannot fulfill his wish while he’s alive today?
