Almost all my muslim friends except for one have sent me new year greeting and I did not respond but don’t know how to tell them that its against islam Even my non muslim staff who wishes me and sent cards, I just kept quiet.How do I respond?

Should he respond to non-Muslims when they wish him a Happy New Year?

A Christian colleague of mine wants to treat us for lunch by ordering from outside. Is it ok if we can eat the food since he is treating us for Christmas. Can you please explain the Hadith reference as well.

If he is inviting you out, it is permissible to accept his invitation. But if he is telling you that this is for the occasion of Christmas and that this is part of him celebrating, this is not permissible for you to attend.

This is not true and it is baseless.

I have heard, that we should not recite any ayats or soorats from quran when we go to graves. But its quite confusing because from the beginning we used to recite soorat fatiha.
