Images and image-making

If you did that in the past, ask Allah for forgiveness and never do that again. it is a major sin to draw such living creatures.

You should either change the screen and put one without images or turn of the monitor until you finish praying.

If the face and the head are not clearly visible, it is permissible.

It is not permissible to take photos of women at all. As for the men only, it is permissible but it is not recomnded.

Photographs are an issue of dispute among scholars. the most authentic opinion is that it is permissible to take with the exception of adult females and keeping photos of deceased people. It is best not to keep any at all just to be on the safe side.

Will the angels still not visit such a house and the prayer not be valid in such a room? …………………………………………………………….. As long as it is not of living creatures, it is permissible. If it is of people but without heads, this is permissible as well.

It is not permissible to make or hang drawings of live creatures. If these butterflies have no face or head, it is permissible to have it.
