sheikh I neither speak nor understand arabic. I wanted to know if its permissible to read the translation of quran in taraweh prayers I.e from Arabic to English.

This is not permissible as this would void your prayers.

I have three small daughters due to this my wife is not able and pray qiyam in Masjid so I let her go alternate days and I take care of kids (one night I go and other night I let her go) when she goes I pray at home is that OK please advise

It is your obligation to pray in the masjid and her obligation to pray home.

I am from India May Allah bless you.I go to a salafi masjid to pray daily.In this ramadhan there is a issue over there.People over there issued a fatwa that qunut in the witr prayer is not allowed.They even said that the narrations about the qunut are weak.So I request you to explain this issue.

sheikh i said to my one of the brother dat at the time of ramadan the qayaam-ul-layl turns into taravih so he is askng me evidence for it so how should explain him plzzzz give me a solution dat i can explain him dat taravih also be can perform in 8 rakahs plzz give me a solution????

Is it permissable to make our personal dua alongwith imaams dua in taraweeh??.. Or should we just listen and respond “ameen” to the imaam’s duas???…

You have to listen to the imam.

Is it permissible to use a translation of the quran during taraweh if we dont understand arabic fluently and want to understand what the imam is reciting.

Asalaamualaikum sheikh….wanted to ask what is the best way for women to pray taraweeh and can tahajudd and taraweeh be combined in last part of night ,if i read 8 rakah before suhoor will it serve purpose of both tahajud and taraweeh?

Assalamualikum sheikh I have a work during Ramadan after iftar so it’s ok for me to pray isha with jama nd then finish the work and join again with jama to pray taraweeh ?sometimes I may reach and see taraweeh is finished ,is it ok for me if I pray alone?

Wa alaikum salam, This is permissible as long as you pray each prayer on time in congregation. Taraweeh is not mandatory.
