my question is what should one read for severe anxiety, overwhelming sadness.. As i used to read something from Allah’names and aayats.. my mind gets distracted but aftr sometime i go back in that condition.. tell me something which give peace to my heart.. I offer prayer regularly but this condition comes for my over thinking about something..

I am faced with alot of doubt in my everyday life. Even in simple things like like sayimg Bismillah before eating. Once I have said it I have doubt on whether my pronunciation was incorrect or a sometimes a few minutes into the meal I feel doubt that I might not even have said it altogether. This is just one example. How do I deal with this constant feeling of doubt in my life.

You have to focus more when you are doing it and ignore all the thoughts that may come afterwards. You are opening the door for Satan to destroy your life through OCD as you are choosing to be like this!

I would like to ask on how to remedy this problem that I have. I have constant anxious thoughts like I’m gonna die or something terrible is going to happen. I’ve been fighting it because my grandparents and some of my relatives do have the same thing. they say it’s hereditary. in addition, im in a non muslim dominated place.

Aren’t we all going to die? Is there anyone who is going to escape death? You should embrace this fact and use it positively to drive you to paradise and make you utilize your time to get closer to Allah and refrain from sins.

I strive to be pious as much as I could but I always have anxiety and fear of death is my biggest concern I get scared and I don’t know if it has to do with my iman or there’s something wrong. I try to ward it off but I constantly fear death. What is your advice?

Fearing death that drives a person to do good deeds and refrain from sins is positive and draws a person closer to Allah. Fear that cripples a person is negative and is from satan.

what is the best dua to be recited to safeguard oneself from perpetual hardships n calamities other than morning evening adhkaars.. sometimes it becomes so overwhelming one can’t even pray n the sadness just disables oneself.

Im terrified of dying as I heard it’s painful, will it be painful? I’mscared that after so many good deeds at time of death I do something that makes me end up in hell as the devil tries to get you leave religion?I’m not 100% bad nor 100% good but it’s hard to have hope when all of it is scary. From the description of munkar nakir to day of judgement it’s hard to imagine believe. Please advice?

Be better and trust Allah! You will die without any doubt! Thinking about it in this negative way is a trick from Satan trying to depress you and maybe make you exit islam.

I have a really bad habit of imagining things. I have now gone to another level of this i am not able to control myself but i want to control it now. Please suggest me so i can control my thoughts.
