With all the appreciation and there efforts of the past years in bringing you up, they are not related to you in Islam and that woman is not your Mahram and he is not Mahram to your wife.

If a man speaks to a woman in front of her husband, he should still lower his gaze after the first look even tough the husband is standing beside her. Is the rule correct according to Islamic sharia? (I know this is the general rule, but does this same rule apply in this particular situation)

My mother in law come to visit us in saudi arabia and now I am planning to go for umrah along with my wife, kids and mother in law. Is it permissible to take my mother in law with us or is there any restriction because of Non Mahram issue?

They are not your Mahram nor your cousins, even if they were Muslims. Therefore, you must not shake hands with them.

I fully understand that I am not allowed to shake a strange woman’s hand when greeting her as I am not a mahram to them. For the avoidance of doubt, please could you confirm if I can shake hands (or touch) with the following women:- my non-maternal/paternal aunts (ie. my uncles wives), my female cousins.
