For about a year I have been giving dawah to people in my town and teens from my high school. I’m the only one who has converted to Islam and not a single person to my knowledge has accepted Islam and became Muslim from hearing even though they see my dawah and me posting Islamic content on social media. I feel sad and hurt. You’d think at least a few people would accept. Any advice?

Sheikh i heard that If you know any sunnah or any shria ruling you must need to follow it.so i try to learn new things and try to follow.if anyone know this matter and he does not learn new sunnah because if he learn he have to follow.this kind of intention is sinful act is in it?

ANSWER: If he doesn’t learn Islam so that he wouldn’t be questioned about it, he is sinful as this is deliberate negligence of Islam.

I saw a video of a man who showed a living camel the body of another dead camel who was slaughtered for Eid. I told my baba that the meat is Haram since animals shouldn’t see their own type slaughter. However I fear speaking without knowledge, and I fear Allah for saying such a statement and saying “it’s haram.” Can you clarify what the man did was haram or Makrooh?

ANSWER: You have indeed spoken without knowledge! The meat doesn’t become haram but it’s against the etiquette of slaughtering to slaughter an animal in front of other animals like this but definitely the meat is halal!

If i become a daee & preach islam, will my parents get reward for it, even if they are against it? I want to persuade them to let me be a daee, so i need to tell them the rewards they may get

ANSWER: No, they won’t get the reward if they’re against it.

Sheikh, I want to start a workshop in my masjid about praying as per sunnah. As I’m not a scholar, so I want to convince the imam & team up with him. If the initiative gets successful then will go to other masjids. I want to do it for the sake of Allah but getting whispers of shaytan about showing off. I’m confused. What should I do? Pls advise.

ANSWER: This is an excellent thing to do providing you are knowledgable of what you are preaching and not just blindly following someone without proper knowledge from the Sunnah.

Is it permissable for a person to keep posting the same post over and over again to the point that people get annoyed because of full storage. My brother has been posting screenshot of a youterber ustad who is reciting Duas and dhikr and he keeps sending SS of the views that usthad has live and his subscriber count. Ik it is encouraging us to go to that yt channel but our fam grp is geting annoyed

ANSWER: This is not permissible to repel people against Islam like this. They should block him!

Sheikh usually uses the verse 5:3 (deen completed) as evidence against bid’ah. Sheikh also says “did the sahaba etc do it(particular bid’ah)”. Isn’t there a contradiction between the 2 since all salaf came after that day? I give dawah to innovators and this verse would make a big difference if I no longer had this confusion.

How to deal with a relative who sends a lot of long Islamic texts? I say Jazakallahukhayran every now and then, but my father who is less religious feels irritated (possibly religiously inferior) by this person. I know my beard makes him feel this sometimes. I also feel inferior sometimes when someone with higher iman lectures me.

ANSWER: There’s no need to feel inferior. You must work hard to reach higher level of iman. Rejecting truth and feeling this way about Islamic knowledge is a very negative sign of hypocrisy.

Sheikh, sometimes we donate money to some Madrasa or Islamic School etc. understanding that these institutions are providing education, food, shelter to orphan students. We don’t feel the necessity to verify their actual condition, syllabus or Aqeedah etc. Is these an appropriate approach of donating? Or should we verify their actual conditions?

ANSWER: You must definitely verify about their aqeedah before donating. It’s not permissible to donate to institutes that have corrupt aqeedah.

Sheikh, one of my family member doesn’t gives priority to Fajar salah. If we force to pray or ask to wake up for Fajar, he/she becomes angry and don’t like us forcing. How should we behave on this? Should we keep insisting/forcing or just say once and leave?

ANSWER: Once you wake them up and have advised them, you have done your duty and can move on. You can only force those whom you have control over such as your children and wife.
