I was fasting on 9th Ashura and when I woke up I felt sexual temptations but I tried not to think about it and I made thikr. Shortly after to my suprise, without doing anything at all, maniy came out. Is there any sin upon me, and is my fast OK?

My mom (age 65 plus & chronic stomach patient) a long time ago wowed (nadher) to fast every Friday for something (not knowing that fasting on Friday is disliked), please advise what; 1. To do for the missed nadher fasts 2. If she is unable to fast due to health issues 3. If her health allows her, should she fast on Friday or some other day in the week to fulfil nadher.

She should fast it and a day earlier or after it! If she is unable to do so, she should feed a poor person for every missed Friday.

I have heard from one of ur class that we can combine intentions eg:-fasting on the day of Arafat with the intention of making up missed Ramadan fasts n inshahAllah getting the rewards of both..but y is this not applicable with the 6days of fasting on Shawwal.??

It is because you have to fast the 6 days of Shawwal after you have completed Ramadan, thus, you can’t get the reward of fasting shawwal while your Ramadan is still incomplete.

I heard a hadeeth which says that a person who cannot afford to get married should fast and also another hadeeth which says that we should not fast continuously.so if I am fasting for the reason mentioned above, can I fast continuously? Kindly explain.Also, is this fasting fardh on a person?

The normal fasting that was prescribed by the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam is to fast alternate days! This is the maximum in normal conditions. However, if a person is afraid that he would inevitably fall in sin, he may fast continuously as this is a precaution

When one is fasting Fardh and midday experiences menstruation; is she allowed to eat at that moment or must she wait till Maghreb even though the fast is invalid? What if it is nawafil fast like Thursday and Monday fast? Can she eat when the fast is invalidated by menstrual blood ?

Please can you advise if I cannot remember my exact intention the night before fasting which I had wanted to be to fast arafah with combined intention to make up my ramadan fast, will this fast still be accepted for both or do I have to repeat?

If you can’t remember, then this is valid for voluntary fasting only!

I have some fard fast left which I have to keep.So if I keep the fast of arafah it will b compensated for my fard fast or be counted as arafah roza?

You can combine the intentions, for fard fast and day of Arafat and get both rewards.

In shaa Allah want to fast for the 9 firsts days of dhul al hijah to do sunnah but can I put another intention to complete my missed fast for ramadan?

If we miss the fast of the first day of Dhul hijjah, Can we start fasting on the 2nd day or 3rd or fast randomly whichever day we like in these nine days or is it must that we should start consecutively from day 1 and continue till the ninth day ?

It is not a must to fast them consecutively, you should try to fast as many as you can.

she will fast single day of arafa n in Ramadan is 30 days which she cannot fast bcoz of her BP n sugar. She said I will fast one in Sha Allah. In fact I told her dat if she can fast one single day of arafa her sins will be wiped out of previous n next year, so she said yes I will try. she is 78 years
