QUESTION: A Q was asked,”…are jinn obliged to believe in angels..?”. Sheikh,ur ans was not clear on this particular Q between 2 Q. As we know, Quran or Islam was sent down on prophet salla Allahu alaihi wasallam for both human and jinn to follow till Qiyama. Then don’t the jinn are obliged to believe and do all things what we human are obliged to?

ANSWER: This is absolutely prohibited and dealing with jinn is shirk and takes a person out of the fold of Islam!

QUESTION: I have heard that every person has a Jinn who whispers evil thoughts to him/her, influencing them towards evil and distraction in worship. I want to know whether it is permissible to make dua for my Jinn to become a muslim, as I heard the prophet (peace be upon him) narrated that his Jinn became a muslim. So should I make dua for my Jinn to be guided to Islam and stop annoying me?

QUESTION: Is it ok if I recite Surah baqrah outside the house for example when I am at working during my break or if I’m at a doctor appointment and waiting to be called or if I am traveling , will it count as reciting at home ?
