God is infinitely merciful. Then why does he allow so much suffering, I know this world is a test but in this test it’s necessary that god has to be merciful, because he is merciful infinitely! And he is more loving than a mother.. Please help.

Please help correct my understanding. If I want something, I make dua to that particular thing. While making dua, I have that thought abt, I may not get it cos Allah will give if it good for me in His knowledge. This means I am not 100% sure that I will get what I pray for. Is this consider that having negetive thought (while praying) abt Allah by thinking that Allah is not giving what I want?

You must not think negative of Allah, on the contrary, should trust in Allah and that He will always give you what is best for you. Always make Duaa and always be content of the outcome.

1. Is it Obligatory to believe in Taqdeer (Destiny)? 2. Can Dua change Taqdeer? I have heard that Taqdeer does not change but i have also heard that dua can change taqdeer. Please clarify.

Believing in pre-destiny and in Allah’s preordination is a pillar of faith that a person is not a Muslim without it. There are two type of decree; changeable and unchangeable. The unchangeable one, only Allah knows about. The changeable one is the one we can change through Dua’a and other deeds.

Is the saying ‘ everything is prewritten but by duas it can be rewritten’ correct? Can Qadr be rewritten by duas.

Did you make the choice or someone else? It is Iike a person asking me: if I kill someone, will Allah hold me accountable? Of course you will be held accountable!

I would like to know if every soul gets a predetermined destiny of either going to hell or heaven, what is the explanation for this being just? I believe there is probably a logical reason, however I cannot seem to get my head around how a person can compete with this predetermined destiny. Please advise, thank you.

It is very easy! Do you know what is written for you in your destiny? The answer is no. Therefore, you do your best and you will find the results to be positive on the Day Of Judgement.

We all know without Allahs permission nothing can happen. Then why does Allah allow the same situation to happen again and again? Literally when someones wedding happens or dawat or Iftar party whether we go or not. Me and my sister get shouted by family and we all end up arguing. I just fail to understand.

Allah says: DO THE PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY WILL BE LEFT TO SAY, “WE BELIEVE” AND THEY WILL NOT BE TRIED? BUT WE HAVE CERTAINLY TRIED THOSE BEFORE THEM, AND ALLAH WILL SURELY MAKE EVIDENT THOSE WHO ARE TRUTHFUL, AND HE WILL SURELY MAKE EVIDENT THE LIARS.

I just wanted to know if you are given a calamity do you find out the reason behind it on judgement day? I had a still born on the 15th of December Alhumdallah, and then 4months later on the 9th of April my husband passed away 32 years of age which was an unexpected death. Do we find out why we are given calamities? Also would my stillborn son be able to see his father?

May Allah have mercy on your husband and accept him among the righteous. Allah tests with calamities those whom He loves to test their patience, elevate their status in Paradise and to reward them. Everything would be cleared on the Day of Judgement.

There’s this confusion regarding destiny. At times we work hard for something but we don’t get it, people say it wasn’t written for us in our destiny. Then we have people asking us to work hard to achieve something. If it’s meant for us it’ll reach us no matter what, then why should someone work for it??

How would you know what is written for you? You have to work hard and whatever is written will happen. If you believe you don’t have to work as it will get to you anyway, then throw yourself from the highest building! If it is written that you will land on your feet, you will!
