I know that Allah subhanahu ta’la has more than 99 Names; and I would like to know the names of Allah which mentioned in the noble Quran. So I have a request to you that either post some of Names of Allah with their meaning in your website or recommend any book?

You can refer to the books of Sheikh Ibn Othaimeen on this topic but they are in Arabic.

There’s a book called Imam al-Ghazali’s Al-Asma al-Husna.The Imam made a list of the 99 names of Allah.I have already memorized this 99 names. May 12, 2012 – 23:17 — contribute But last time I asked you concerning the meaning of 2 of the names (Al Jaleel and Al Baqi) which were on the list of Imam al-Ghazali, and you told me that these names are not mentioned in any ayah or authentic hadeeth. No need to be confused. The only source that we can learn Allah’s names and attributes is the Quran and Sunnah. Yes, these are names of Allah as in the ayah of suratul hadeed (iron) ayah number 3

When we invoke Allaah’s names, sometime we combine two names & attribute,for example: Gafurur Rahim. Likewise what can we join with the name of Ar-Razzaq as a combination when we ask for our provision?

It is an issue of dispute among scholars as there is no authentic hadeeth to prove it.
