QUESTION: I called my dad, i started getting thoughts whether I must say Salam or not, what will others think if I say so. Then I didn’t say. Is it kufr ? Is it like disobeying Allah due to fear of creation?

ANSWER: Its not kufr!! However, its sinful for not starting the conversation with saying Salam first!

QUESTION: A student of knowledge was giving a lecture and he told that we use left hand to clean dirty things, that is why we should use our left hand to hold the toothbrush when we brush in the morning. I want to ask if this is true and if it is wrong if we use our right hands for brushing.

ANSWER: There is no prescribed sunnah in this! One can use either hands. Those who see it as removing filth would use the left. Those who would see it cleaning and a means of sunnah would use the right.

QUESTION: Can any type of medical professionals like a optometrist(non surgical) or a nurse etc be count as mbbs doctors who can save all the humanity by saving one

ANSWER: If they save lives then they come under this category, otherwise no!

QUESTION: In a country where Muslims live as a minority and they are oppressed severely, is it permissible for them to throw dust in the eyes of the disbelievers by pretending to be on their side? Or must they oppose them openly?but if we do it openly they can kill us. What do you say about this?

ANSWER: They should act diplomatically and act in a way that would not be harmful to the Muslims of the country at large

QUESTION: I accidentally touched another car while reversing. The damage is uncertain as i think they were already scratches. I left a note, but it may have blown away due to bad weather. It was a public hospital parking with no security or camera. Is there any sin or kaffarah? If i don’t find the owner must i give the price in charity ?

ANSWER: If there was damage done to the car then you should try to find the owner otherwise give that much amount in charity.

QUESTION: Can i feed the outside cats and birds? my dad and sister say that i shouldn’t because they will become dependent on me for food. But I say that Allah (SWT) is the giver or risk, and if one day i can’t give them food because I run out or if I change countries, Allah (SWT) will provide for them. who is correct shaikh?

ANSWER: This is permissible if it won’t litter the area or annoy neighbors and it is not against the law

QUESTION: How should i reply to the salam when someone goes out of the house and give salam to everyone in loud voice while I’m in my room ?

QUESTION: We know that alhumdulillah means all praise to Allah. So is it shirk to praise others?

QUESTION: Is it haram if one sleeps with his feet facing towards the qiblah and when one is sitting, laying down on the floor etc?
