QUESTION: We gotcooked meat from Muslima.We don’t know how shepractices Islam.I know that she fasts&prays,but shedoesn’t wear proper hijab(maybe does freemixing)Can I eatmeat without asking which opinionshe follows?I follow ruling that it has to be from Muslim and slautheredhalal,not from supermarket in Christiancountry.

ANSWER: 1. You must not ask a Muslim if its halal or not since by default its halal! This kind of thinking (doubting Muslims) is from the Khawarij & Prophet ﷺ said that the khawarij are the hounds of hellfire!

ANSWER: No problem in this business providing it is halal and she adheres to Islamic guidelines. This is totally fine and recommended in Islam as Allah loves the upper hand that gives more than the lower hand that takes.

QUESTION: Is it permissable to greet with the left hand or is it haram?

ANSWER: There’s no ruling regarding this since when we Islamically greet (Assalamu alaikum…) the ruling is we only say it verbally and not use hands.

ANSWER: No problem as we don’t fear death but rather fear our own sins and what Allah will do with them and whether such sins would block us from saying the shahadah while dying.

QUESTION: The person deserve 1st of my respect said, it’s not permissible to sit cross-legged or ankle-on-knee, half-lotus or MOVE/SWING LEGS while sitting, DOING LIKE THAT IS ARROGANT/Imitating actors. ANSWER: 1- This is absolutely baseless. No problem in sitting cross legged. If in your culture it is regarded as disrespectful to sit cross legged in front of elders then you should not do it but this is not prohibited in islam.

QUESTION: Is sitting beside the street—with friends or relatives, or in a shop near the street—where people pass by, considered sinful?
