What is the ruling on women cutting their hair? I was told it is haram according to a book called The Tresses of Jannah

This is baseless. It is permissible to cut the hair unless it is imitating men or disbelievers.

Sheikh I need some advice. I have waswaas about my appearance because I have big features like big nose and ears and it makes me less appreciated and I suffer low self esteem. Am thinking about surgery sheikh how do I battle this? JazakAllah khair!

If this surgery is for medical reasons and not for beautification then it is permissible. If it is to remove a clear abnormality or defect, this is permissible.
