Cardio’ and neurological surgeries require the surgeons to be working for 17 hours straight in the operating theatre. So what should muslim surgeons,operating on a person,do when the time for Salah approaches?

My question is: I had learned to raise hands in salah at every takbeer; but, my husband learned to raise hands only on first rakah at first takbeer. He told me to obey him and to do it his way, trust his guidance. What is correct according to the sunnah and how to explain to him so he does not think I am disobedient? JazakAllahu Khairun.
