It is permissible to recite different Surahs different to the order of the Quran. This means that is permissible to recite surah 114 and in the second Rak’ah recite surah 113. This was done by the Prophet salla Allahu alahi wa sallam.

Can you please clarify the implication of reciting a lower surrah in the first rakaah and a higher surrah in the second rakaah.Is it true that you should always recite a higher one in the first raakah and the lower one in the second raakah. i.e during fajr prayer, first raakah recite fatihah and Iklas then second raakah recite fatihah and fil. Is this wrong? Or it must be the Fil in first raaka then Iklas in the second raakah? im really confused in what to do because some say its wrong to recite a higher surrah after reciting a lower surrah during prayers.
