It is permissible to recite different Surahs different to the order of the Quran. This means that is permissible to recite surah 114 and in the second Rak’ah recite surah 113. This was done by the Prophet salla Allahu alahi wa sallam.

Can you please clarify the implication of reciting a lower surrah in the first rakaah and a higher surrah in the second rakaah. Is it true that you should always recite a higher one in the first raakah and the lower one in the second raakah?
