The mandatory prayers must be prayed as taught to us by the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa salla.
Therefore, you must pray Thuhr, Asr and Isha prayers in 4 units, sitting for tashahud in the 2nd and 4th rak’ah and offering salam only after the 4th rak’ah.
