This is not sunnah and it is based on a hadeeth that is not authentic.

Can you please advise if it is sunnah to perform 40 salat in madinah as part of hajj. Some groups who take hajj tours accommodate for this in their hajj package but I am not sure how authentic it is in regards o sunnah?
