If the illness is chronic and there is no possibility of recovering from it, a person should feed one poor person for every day missed. Money can’t be paid directly to the poor as one must feed him and not give him money.

Can the Fidyah of missed Ramadan fasts due to ill health be paid in cash?

My question is that why do some really bad thoughts come even during fasting sometimes,is it a sin even if we try to ignore them they come again and again wat should we do in such a case?How can sins happen in Ramadaan when the devils are chained up?I heard the imam mention that the shaytan is not present in the month of Ramadhan. If this is true why is it hard for a muslim to stay away from sins during the month of ramadan even if the muslim is performing his or her regular duties.
