ANSWER:

This is not permissible. A Muslim woman must be covered from head to toe. She must wear the hijab and a loose fitting outer garment that conceals the entire shape and bone structure of her body. If wearing the niqab is her conviction, she must abide by it as well. The color of the abaya is not of great significance but she must avoid attractive colors.

Can Muslim women residing in non-Muslim majority countries dress according to the place? So that there is no threat of life from the non believers ? For example- wearing a colored abaya? avoiding the likes of gloves and socks?
