No fidyia must be given. He has to make up that day and ask Allah’s forgiveness. Also he may fast after 15 shaban no problem.

can fasting for the previous ramadan can be make up even after 15of shaban? If one made niyyah for the make up of ramadan and couldnot fast as he did not eat saher,is there any fidya to be given ?

Please can you explain this hadith because this says to fast on 15th shaban. Imran b. Husain (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace he upon him) having said to him or to someone else: Did you fast in the middle of Sha’ban? He said: No. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: If you did not observe fast, then you should observe fast for two days.

Please i would like to know if it is compulsory for me to fast because i am five months pregnant. People are saying i must fast while some are saying i dnt have to. I can feed people.
