When I asked if it was bidah Or not, they replied with saying that it was allowed since we weren’t doing it for the purpose of a person’s death but rather to make our school a better place.
Are, or are we not allowed to have group of people finish the quran together?

This is bid’ah(innovation).

At school our teachers organised for about 30 of us to read a chapter of the quran each (to do a Khattum of the quran).
