As long as it was not slaughtered in his name, the food is halal.

Assalaammulaikum.Bro in my sisters in laws house they cook some food inthe name of some dead person wali allah they say ,they send that food to her house so what should she do with that food eat or to give maid.jazakallah hu khairan.I m so thankful to Allah that u guide us .

Shaykh, hope you are well. With regards to food at restaurants, do we only need to concern ourselves on how the meat is slaughtered? Or do we need to investigate the spices etc that they use to prepare the food as well? Jazakhallah
