Asalamu aleikum. Sheikh, i am getting married soon and going back to study medicine after an incident where i got mentally sick but Alhamdulilah now i am all better.If am starting a family,would it be better for me to stop studying and get a job?my husband doesnt make much money as he is also a student.i also have hard time giving up medicine altogether.its good knowledge and i can help treat my muslim sisters inshaAllah.i have prayed istikhara,i am just in need of good advice.

I am from Uk and am on job seekers. My advisor had rang me about a jobat post office. The job role is called post office assistant its more like a window clerk serving customers through window such as sell stamp and deal with parcel etc. In these post office they sell alcohol and wine also lottery tickets and said i have to attend a session where iwill get more info about the job. And there maybe a time where they might want me to serve custoners on tilIs and sell these haram things.Is it Haram to work in such environments where they sell lottery tickets, alcohol and wine and cigerettes??

I live with my parents in UAE and I earn 2200 AED. My dad can’t work heavy work due to illness. So, he does a small job like dropping staff to office and to home, which is not a permanent job. I think ,UAE doesn’t allow like this kind of work because his visa is not of this work. His sponsoring company doesn’t have work for him. We have put visa from them just to make his stay in UAE legal. Is this work halal?
