ANSWER:

No problem in accepting and using it without participating in their kufr gatherings or celebrations.

As in Hong Kong is lunar Chinese new year. So if a person gave me Lai see(red pocket money), am I mean celebrating of Chinese new year by receiving the red pocket money & is the money from Chinese new year is it consider as halal or Haram money, if it’s Haram money,n due to respect to Chinese festival,may we receive it & donate to someone in charity cause
