ANSWER:

You must not exceed 40 days without trimming the mustache. However, if it got too long, it must be cut short even if it didn’t reach 40 days.

Am I sinful for not trimming my moustache every 40 days? It’s not that long and my beard hasn’t come yet. My brother told me if I drink something and it touches my moustache, it becomes impermissible.
