i havr to repay a loan from bank and hence i have done some saving,example 100,000 amongst which i have 40,000 saving.so am i liable to pay zakat from 40,000 and salary or only only from my salary/jwlry,etc?

My Mother put her house for sale on january 2018 and sold the house on February 2018 and kept the money. She now lives with me. She pays her regular zakah every Ramadan. So my question is: does she pay the zakah on the money she got from her house this Ramadan or the next year´s Ramadan?
