Backbiting is to mention the faults of someone while he is not present and slandering means making a false spoken statement damaging to a person’s reputation.

If she is seeking naseeha, this does not seem like backbiting. Otherwise, it is backbiting.

Almost all women discuss the problems of their brothers and sister or sister in laws with their hubands or may be things happening in the life of their relatives.Is this also backbiting?Although the intention isn’t to defame or speak of ill of others but just discussing the problems of the family and to find the solution.
