ANSWER:

The parents are accountable for whatever sins they allowed their children to do without advising them and are rewarded if they brought their children up on Islam.

However,nosoul shall bear the weight of another’s sins and everyone is responsible for their own sins on The Day of Account.

Shaykh, will it be backbiting if I watch a TV show where it criticizes and speaks ill of a person (eg.The president)?

Someone asked on twitter if someone repented from major sins wheter he will be asked on the day of judgement or that the sins will be erased. You said he will be shown the sin. Why? Do you mean by that that he will be shown the sin but he will be also forgiven? Can you please elaborate
