This is baseless. We are told to seek refuge in Allah from satan when we hear dogs barking.

According to some elders they say that it is a bad sign when dogs cry. What does islam say about this?

I have observed that when a muslim meets another muslim and asks ‘how are you’ or ‘what about you’. The other person replies as ‘Alhumdulillah’. I want to ask that is this a sunnah/recommend/good way to reply.
