The man although professing muslim was reported to have lived a non islamic life and was an alcohoilc and regularly abused drugs. His body is currently lying in london morgue and the hospital is looking for his relations to have him burried. A colleague of the deceased wants to know whether he can attend his funeral under such circumstance. What is the guidance on this according to Islam..

As long as this individual was a Muslim and he is not known to have nullified his sins, regardless of his sins, he is still a Muslim and we have to take care of him and give him the proper Islamic burial even if he was abandoned by his relatives.
