If they are alone in the room, this is not permissible whether she is praying or not.

If they are not alone and there are others, this is permissible. She should try her best to be away from their eyes as much as possible

A sister (revert alhamdulillah) would like to know the following: “Can a muslim boy (who is not praying) be in the room while I am praying if he is not related to me?”
