ANSWER:

Swearing by other than Allah is shirk that can be minor and it can also be major depending on one’s intention. If he repents while showing deep remorse and sincerity and is sincere in his repentance, Allah will forgive him.

A man swears other than Allah.He has no intention of glorifying the thing by which he is swearing(other than Allah). Is it minor shirk or major shirk. If it is minor shirk, will the Muslim who swears other than Allah(did minor shirk)enter paradise?

Sheikh I want to ask you, is Allah’s apostle a human or a ‘Nur’ as they say, they point out that verse in the Quran as plural (referring to the whole of human kind) that Allah sent towards you a book and a ‘Nur’ which they say is The Prophet himself. My family used to believe in these thangals (who I’m convinced practice sorcery) they said they were righteous people who can pray for us, we got them to pray for us when we were moving houses. These thangals gave bottles with writings to put inside the walls of the house. Do we remove these bottles or just leave them there since we don’t believe/seek protection from them?
