Renovation of the house is not a necessity. Therefore, it is not permissible to give him from the zakat.

If something essential is not working and he doesn’t have the money to fix it – as a broken fridge – , this can be given from zakat.

A man earns enough money to cater to his family..but he does not have enough money to renovate his house which is not in a good condition..Can Zakah be given to such a person???
