Yes, it’s permissible to trim only the hair that cause obstruction. 

A few hairs of my eyebrows are so long that they obstruct my vision. Am I allowed to trim the long ones only using a scissor to a reasonable length?

I live in a 26 storey apartment building. Sometimes, it is inevitable for me to be in seclusion with a non-mahram woman in the lift. Is this considered khulwah? It is difficult for me to avoid being in the same elevator with others, especially during peak periods in the mornings and evenings. Should I wait for an empty lift? Am I obliged to leave the elevator if a non-mahram woman enters?
