What you are doing is good.

My target this ramdan is to finish Quran twice,and spend rest of my time memorizing, reviewing and listening to tafseer, however ppl around me say that we should read from cover to cover as much as we can in ramadan.What do you advise ya sheikh? Whats better?I wana know whats more preferable!

There is a fatwa which says in Northern Europe when the fasts are extremely long you can base your fasting on Mecca so your fast will never be longer than 12 – 16 hours. It is attributed to Mohammad Abduh and Tantawi and Ali Gomaa. I feel that this opinin is wrong ? Does it hold any weight at all ?
