No problem in asking such a profit as long as one acquires the item and owns it.

If you do business and buy a product for say Rs.100 and you sell for Rs 120? In Islam what is the rule of gaining profit?Should it be nominal after adding the other expenses on it or can we take more?

There is a supplier in china who is selling Lab Coats for $12.50 and he is selling these lab coats in aliexpress.com. I am living in Russia. I emailed this supplier and asked him whether we could agree for a contract i.e.I shall advertise this product on ebay.com for higher price than $12.50 and he agreed with me that I can keep the extra mark up. Once I get paid from customer, supplier ships the item. Is this permissible?
