It is permissible to swallow it as it is only a taste and the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam used to do this and he never spitted it.

If we use the siwak while we are fasting, are we allowed to swallow the saliva resulting after cleaning our mouth, as u know,the siwak leaves a taste in the mouth
