What if newspapers contains pictures of people and idols,etc and a person’s mother used it in kitchen racks and kept utensils, container on it? If Some pictures are hidden some are visible, what to do? shud all utensils removed?

In our country(Democratic) the government is making sculptures of the founding father of our country. The Islamic Scholars are opposing it.But, the government says that in Islam idols are prohibited, not sculptures to which we don’t pray to.And they give examples of Muslims country like Saudi Arabia as they also have sculptures.
